A Harrogate man has been charged with a string of alleged sexual offences against a family member.
The 62-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Friday (November 7) where he spoke to confirm his name, age and address.
Magistrates heard that the man has been charged with four counts of inciting sexual activity with a child and six counts of sexual activity with a child.
The alleged offences date between May 15, 2020, and October 19, 2021.
The man, who gave the court an address in Harrogate, is also alleged to have made a child watch or look at an image of sexual activity and engaged in sexual communications with a child.
Magistrates referred the case to York Crown Court, where the defendant will appear on December 1.
