House music lovers who flocked to Harrogate over the weekend can look forward to doing it all again next year.
Thousands of people descended on the Oatlands Drive section of the Stray on Saturday (September 6) to celebrate this year’s Love to Be Festival.
With DJ sets from Armand Van Helden, TV-personality-turned-DJ Gok Wan and creators of the iconic ‘Lola’s Theme’, The Shapeshifters, the second event of its kind appeared to be a big hit in the town.
Now it has been confirmed Love to Be will return to Harrogate for a third time next September.
The festival, put on by Sheffield-based events company and record label Love to Be, will be held on the Stray on September 5, 2026.
In an email to “loyal customers”, Love to Be revealed the date and thanked festivalgoers for their support.
It said:
Each and every one of you made year 2 on the Stray so special and brought nothing but energy, love and smiles!
Yes, it’s Monday and we are all bleary-eyed and still recovering from an epic day, but we are fully charged already for the 2026 edition.
The company promised performances from “some of the biggest names on the planet” at next year’s event, which will also see “more production and added surprises to make your Harrogate festival experience even better”.
This year's festival saw three stages, a large VIP area, fairground rides, bars and food stalls, a confession box and endless dancing.
Love to Be said on social media yesterday (September 7):
We will not forget that one in a hurry...
All the DJs across every stage delivered a masterclass, and you, our festival faithful, truly brought it all to life! We wanted to go bigger than last year and the months of work that go into our biggest event of the year is 1000% worth it when we witness a sea of smiling faces.
