The Smiths Arms in Beckwithshaw officially reopened its doors today (September 1) following a six-figure investment.
The Stray Ferret reported in July that the village pub would close for refurbishment on August 4.
It has now welcomed back customers with a fresh look, including significant changes to the pub's exterior such as new garden furniture and lighting.

The interior of the Chef & Brewer pub has new furniture and décor, and the toilets have been renovated.
The pub has also reintroduced its breakfast menu from Friday to Sunday.
To celebrate the relaunch, the Smiths Arms made a donation to Horticap, a Harrogate charity that provides adults with learning and other disabilities training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills.
