Two people have admitted using a crowbar to break into a Harrogate flat.
Luis Alberto Camargo Bolivar, 47, and Jenny Suarez Rodriguez, 48, were arrested on December 23 before appearing at York Magistrates Court on December 26, each charged with one count of burglary.
They both pleaded guilty.
According to court records, Bolivar and Rodriguez both broke into an apartment on Springfield Avenue on December 18, 2025.
North Yorkshire Police previously said the defendants used a crowbar to break into the property.
Once inside, they stole a safe and its contents, which included watches, jewellery, cash and designer luggage.
The exact value of the stolen goods is not known, court records say.
Bolivar was also accused of stealing jewellery in a burglary at a property on Chattering Drive in Formby, Merseyside, on November 24, 2023, but no plea was entered to this charge.
The defendants, who are both of no fixed abode, were remanded in custody and the case was transferred to York Crown Court, where they will next appear on February 2.
