A Knaresborough man has denied drink-driving at a well-known tourist attraction.
Daniel Donoghue, of York Road, appeared at Scarborough Magistrates Court yesterday (September 15) when he pleaded not guilty to the offence.
Mr Donoghue is accused of drink-driving at Flamingo Land, a theme park and zoo near Malton, on August 30.
He is alleged to have consumed so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 66 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 45-year-old defendant will return to Scarborough Magistrates Court for trial on January 23, 2026.
