A man has denied affray following an incident near Ripon last year.
North Yorkshire Police at the time said officers were called to Melmerby at around 11.39pm on December 4 after a man in his 40s suffered a “serious knife wound” to his neck.
Radk Szatkowski, 41, of Main Street in Wath, pleaded not guilty to one count of affray at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday (April 28).
Gary John Holdsworth, 51, denied attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place at a hearing in January.
Mr Holdsworth, of The Paddock in Melmerby, also denied an offence of wounding with intent during Tuesday's hearing.
A trial date has been set for July 27 at Leeds Crown Court.
