Woman denies racially harassing officer at Harrogate Police Station
A woman has denied racially harassing a detention officer at Harrogate Police Station.
Julianne Cartledge, 53, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (September 10) where she spoke to confirm her name, date of birth and address.
Ms Cartledge, of Wardrop Road, Catterick Garrison, denied one charge of racially aggravated harassment towards a named officer on March 4 this year.
She also denied two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty on the same date.
Ms Cartledge also pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening and abusive words to cause harassment or distress on the same date.
Magistrates adjourned the case for trial on November 13, 2026, at Harrogate Magistrates Court.
