A show featuring the "biggest ever line-up of property experts in the north of England" will be held in Harrogate for the 30th time next month. 

The Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show will take place at Harrogate Convention Centre from November 1-3.

Accordong to the centre, the event is expected to attract nearly 10,000 visitors and bring an an economic impact of about £450,000 to Harrogate.

It also said in a release today the gathering will see the "biggest ever line-up of property experts in the north of England".

Some 240 exhibitors are expected to showcase products and services.

The annual event first took place in 1994, meaning it will have run for over 450 days and sold enough exhibition space to fill Wembley Stadium 200 times by this year's gathering.

Harrogate Convention Centre and the Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show

The centre said 87% of show visitors have a property project on the go, or will have in the next 12 months.

The event includes one-to-one advice from experts, including 15-minute consultations.

There will also be a series of seminars and masterclasses from leading property experts.

The talks will include home solar installation; VAT for self-builders; mastering build costs; how heat pumps work, and there will also be a series of eco-energy-focused sessions.

Paula Lorimer, director at the centre, said: 

The show is set to bring together the entire homebuilding sector, with thousands of brands and an impressive line-up of industry experts featuring at this year’s event, celebrating a long and rich history with Harrogate. It will also bring significant footfall to our spa town.

Doors open from 10am to 5pm on November 1 and 2 and from 10am to 4.30pm on November 3.

Other upcoming exhibitions at the centre include Harrogate International Nursery Fair (13-15 October, trade only), Thought Bubble Comic Convention (16-17 November) and the Knitting & Stitching Show (21-24 November).
