Children’s play business looks to expand

World of their Own is small family run children's play business based on Hornbeam Park in Harrogate.

The business had a two-day visit from the former Global Creative Director of innovation at Merlin Entertainments, Justin East, and his business partner Glen Chapman.

Mr East has over 30 years’ experience in designing theme parks and immersive attractions to include the Legoland parks, Alton Towers and Madame Tussauds.

The duo have now founded a new company, Wondertree Creative, that specialises in the development of themed environments and attractions across the world.

Mr East visited the little Wild West themed Play Town and said it is like a “cinematic version of play.”

With Mr East’s support the business is now looking for larger premises and investment to expand and develop the brand in Harrogate.
