A child sex offender from a village near Harrogate was jailed at York Crown Court yesterday (March 18).
John Noe, of Hampsthwaite, was found guilty of one count of indecent assault after trial.
The offending happened between March 1999 and March 2003, when the victim was 12, 14 and 15-years-old.
The 53-year-old was given a 30-month prison sentence, made subject to a restraining order and will be on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Noe was also charged with four other sex offences but the jury found him not guilty.
