Nearly £2,000 worth of stock was stolen from Cotswold Outdoor in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident happened at 4pm on December 7 at the West Park store.
Clothing to the value of £1,904 was taken from the store without payment, the force added.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following the theft. They said:
