Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association was called out after a woman fainted on her way to Scarhouse Reservoir.
The fell rescuers received a report from North Yorkshire Police on Wednesday (September 11), which said the woman had also “banged her head and been sick” on the Nidderdale Way.
The association added the woman had planned to “make her own way to Scarhouse Reservoir” to meet her dad, who was around 38 minutes away at the time of the call out.
It added:
A limited call out was made, and Fells 1 and 2 dispatched to Scarhouse Reservoir to ensure that the casualty successfully made the RV [sic] with her father, and be prepared to undertake a hasty search of the Nidderdale Way if she failed to arrive.
The coastguard helicopter was training in the area, the statement said, adding it was also asked to search around Scarhouse.
However, the woman managed to meet her father whilst rescuers were en route.
Her father took her to hospital, UWFRA said, adding the team then stood down.
