The Old Deanery in Ripon is a tasting menu like no other thanks to its immersive nature, where diners move through the building as they delight in this epicurean experience.
The evening begins with pre-dinner drinks in the welcome lounge. The Churchill-inspired restaurant, named after the former Prime Minister’s country house in Kent, celebrates his love for fine food and outstanding wine, both on offer at this elegant and decadent dining establishment.

The Dining Room at Goldsborough Hall is both an opulent and elegant setting situated within this grand, sixteenth century country house that’s also a five-star stately home in Goldsborough, Knaresborough.
Dine on the carefully curated six-course tasting menu, or for even more indulgence, there’s also The Royal Tasting Menu. The latter is particularly fitting given that the house was formerly a royal residence.
The three AA Rosette-awarded restaurant that's listed in the Michelin guide is headed up by Daniel Ife, whose menu is seasonally driven using produce grown just metres away in the kitchen garden.
His culinary style has a modern twist and a classic French undertone, with dishes including chicken consommé with smoked eel, crab with tarragon, lime and mustard, and woodland pork with summer truffle, kohlrabi, sweet cicely and fennel.

Hailed as one of the best restaurants in Harrogate for a date night on a Friday evening, its menu takes the very best produce and respectfully combines them to deliver the most incredible flavours - the vegetables are grown from Paradise's own vegetable garden - in line with Frances’s no-frills motto of letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
Start with a glass of champagne and a quartet of starters, followed by the main with dishes that – depending on the menu – might include wild halibut, partridge or saddle of venison.
