North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was busy last night as three separate fires broke out in the district.
The first occurred at around 6.16pm on Harrogate Road, in Littlethorpe.
A crew was called to reports of smoke and discovered household waste on fire.
The fire covered 10 metres by 10 metres and was extinguished with a hose jet, according to the service's incident report.
At 10.55pm, crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate responded to a summerhouse fire at the back of a house on St Margaret's Road in Knaresborough.
The blaze was out by the time firefighters arrived. Crews dampened down the area and removed a wood burner. One hose reel jet was used and a thermal imaging camera, to check for further hotspots.
Ripon and Harrogate crews were then called to a third blaze, on Doublegates Avenue in Ripon.
A storage area attached to a residential property had caught fire and spread to the garage. Crews extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
