If you’re looking for something extra special to do this summer, look no further — but it won't come cheap.
Grantley Hall, near Ripon, announced today (July 7) it is offering a luxurious new summer package, featuring a Champagne picnic and the chance to play croquet in its stunning grounds.
Le Picnic is being launched in partnership with iconic Champagne house Veuve Clicquot, and will see guests enjoy a selection of nibbles alongside a bottle of the brand’s Yellow Label Champagne.
You can then pretend you’re in a period drama and try your hand at a round of croquet on the lawn, set against the backdrop of the stately house and with a view of the North Yorkshire countryside below.
The experience costs from £230 per pair, which includes a bottle of Champagne and picnic items such as olives, a pork pie, local cheeses and strawberries and cream.
The five-star hotel is famous for its Michelin-starred restaurant and hosting a number of big names, including Ryan Reynolds, Wayne Rooney and Tommy Fury.
Le Picnic can be booked for up to four people here, and is open to both residents and non-residents of the hotel.
