Residents will soon be able to get their coffee fix at a pizza restaurant in Harrogate after its long-standing sister café closed last week.
Hoxton North on Royal Parade shut its doors after 13 years of trading – and the news prompted a huge response.
Former England manager Gareth Southgate was among those expressing sadness at its demise.
But owner Tim Bosworth has now announced his other site, North Slice on Cold Bath Road, will soon be serving coffee and pastries as well as pizzas.
In a video on social media, Mr Bosworth said the North Slice team are “excited to welcome you into a new era”.
From next week, coffee and pastries will be served throughout the morning at North Slice.
Mr Bosworth said:
In terms of our daytime offering, we will be selling our coffee that we used to do at Hoxton North. We still do it at North Slice, but I think those people who want the feeling of a breakfast coffee, a mid-afternoon coffee or an afternoon coffee will still be able to get that same quality of service at North Slice.
We’ll be serving coffees from early in the morning – circa 8.30/9am – so you’ll still be able to get your coffee fix.

Hoxton North is now closed.
Customers will also be able to enjoy pizza by the slice, as well as new 'sandos', which are Italian sandwiches made from pizza dough and fillings.
The new offerings at North Slice will be available from next Tuesday (April 14).
Olsi Papa, who owns Papitos wine bar on John Street, has taken over the former Hoxton North site and will be reopening it tomorrow (April 7), as reported by the Stray Ferret.
Mr Papa said the new venture, called The Silver Fox, will offer the same experience as Hoxton, but it will operate as a bar on weekends.
He added:
It is going to be the same. The only difference is on a Saturday it will open as a wine bar until 10pm.
It is the same staff and the same chef.
