North Slice, the new pizza bar on Cold Bath Road in Harrogate, will finally open its doors to customers on Tuesday (October 28), its owner has revealed.
Tim Bosworth, who also owns Hoxton North on Royal Parade, made the announcement on Instagram last night and told the Stray Ferret:
We’re so excited to finally open the doors and welcome everyone who has followed our journey so far.
North Slice is about more than just pizza – it’s about creating a space where people can connect and share stories.

He said the pizza bar, which occupies the former Catherine Smith Vintage Fashion site (formerly Suemar), “brings together the flavours of Naples, New York and London”, and will offer handmade sourdough pizzas, craft beers and cocktails, available on the premises or to take away.
The opening of North Slice has been long awaited. When the Stray Ferret first reported that the premises were being converted back in May, Mr Bosworth said he hoped to open in mid-July. Since then, the 2,000-plus followers of North Slice’s Instagram account have been tracking its progress through Mr Bosworth’s updates.
Just up the road, the former Lancaster’s bakery site is to finally re-open as the Drunken Piglet.
When Lancaster’s closed on February 1 after 119 years in business, the premises looked set to remain as a bakery.

The Drunken Piglet occupies the old Lancaster's bakery shop.
The new owners announced – also in May – that they planned to convert the unit into the Cold Bath Bakehouse, which was billed as a “modern European bakehouse and pizza parlour” that would offer “New York-shire style pizza with a craft beer or wine”. It too was intended to open over the summer.
But a change of business model has seen that plan morph into a “cheeky new independent hangout” serving “Piglet’s Potions, Sober Snout mocktails and delicious bites from around the world, with a generous dollop of humour and warmth”.
The Drunken Piglet is due to open to customers on November 1.
