Harrogate’s soon-to-open Irish bar has shared more details about its location.
The Stray Ferret broke the news last month that Katie O’Brien’s Irish Taverns was heading to the town.
At the time the company was tight-lipped about the exact location but we later discovered the bar looked set to open in the former Manahatta site on The Ginnel.
Manahatta closed in July after five years of trading. It was based in Harrogate House, which was listed for auction last month, and Katie O'Brien's was named as the proposed tenants in marketing documents.
Katie O’Brien’s yesterday teased followers on social media a little more by confirming the new branch will open on The Ginnel.
However, the did not name a unit nor reveal an opening date.

Katie O’Brien’s – which also has sites in Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield, Durham and Leicester – will be the second addition to the town’s Irish tavern scene.
It describes itself as the home of "good craic, live music and a perfect pint".
It follows in the footsteps of Four Leaf, which took over The Harlow on John Street in March.
