Plans to create a new takeaway in Knaresborough have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The planning application seeks a change of use for the unit at 22 High Street, in a unit currently used as a hair salon.
The new restaurant, called Straight Jackets, will have a kitchen and a food preparation area with sinks, a jacket potato oven and a potato warmer. It will also have a counter and serving area at the front of the building.

The planning documents state that the venue would have two employees and be open daily from 9.30am-6pm.
North Yorkshire Council are yet to approve the plans.
