Luxury car finance company acquires new Harrogate headquarters
Apollo Capital Group has acquired Cardale House in Harrogate and plans to make the building its new headquarters.
The company, which provides finance for luxury, supercar, hypercar and classic vehicles plans to transform the ground floor into a client entertainment space where it will showcase cars.
Strategic property and construction advisors, Fox Lloyd Jones announced today (June 9) it had completed the sale of the 14,162 square foot building in Cardale Park “for an undisclosed amount in the region of the £1.4 million original guide price”.
Leeds-based Fox Lloyd Jones said it acted on behalf of private investor and developer Trevor Wheatley, to secure the sale of the freehold property on an owner-occupier basis to Apollo Capital Group so that it can relocate its operations from Hornbeam Park in Harrogate.
According to Fox Lloyd Jones, the sale generated “strong interest from parties seeking rare freehold opportunities within Harrogate’s office market”.
Originally developed by Wheatley in 2001, Cardale House has been occupied throughout by Intechnology.
The building, within the Cardale Park business district, has an entrance atrium, open-plan floorplates and secure on-site car parking.
Apollo Capital Group founders Andy King and David Moss have been active in the high-value automotive finance sector since 1997.
