Man denies stealing Volvo from Knaresborough showroom
A man has denied stealing a car from a showroom in Knaresborough.
Assad Farooq, of Oxford Road in Nelson, Lancashire, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday (February 5), when he pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of a motor vehicle.
Mr Farooq is alleged to have stolen a Volvo XC40 from the Stoneacre dealership at St James Retail Park on August 16, 2024.
The case was adjourned until February 24, when Mr Farooq, 40, is due to appear at York Magistrates Court.
