North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a rider was knocked off his motorbike in Summerbridge.
A statement from the force today (March 12) said the incident happened between 1pm and 1.30pm on Sunday (March 8), when a car collided with the motorcyclist on the B6451 Dobson Bank junction with the B6165 in Summerbridge.
The statement added:
The rider of a motorcycle was waiting to turn onto the B6165, and a black SUV-type vehicle collided with the motorcycle, knocking the rider off.
The rider sustained an injury to his foot but did not require hospital treatment.
We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
