North Yorkshire Police has appealed for information after graffiti was found on the side of a museum in Knaresborough.
The incident is one of numerous recent graffiti outbreaks in the town.
The Stray Ferret reported that graffiti was found in multiple locations last week, with many incidents happening on Thursday night and Friday morning.
Some tags appear to be the same, saying '2 B Seen' with an icon resembling an eye.
The Courthouse Museum is a grade two listed building in the Castle Yard.
According to a police statement today, a wall at the museum was defaced between 5pm on Thursday, May 15 and 9am on Friday, May 16 at 9am.
