Police have released CCTV images of a couple they would like to speak to following an alleged theft in Boroughbridge.
North Yorkshire Police today (January 4) issued the appeal following an incident at Tap on the Tutt. The force did not state when the incident occurred.
Today’s statement added:
The victim has taken off his Tag Heuer watch and placed it on a shelf to the side of the pool table while he played pool. Unfortunately, he has left it there after finishing his game and it is alleged to have been taken by the couple who played the next game.
All attempts to locate the couple have so far been unsuccessful. Officers believe the couple do not live in North Yorkshire but regularly visit Boroughbridge and potentially own a holiday home in the area.
