This week, readers have had their say on potholes in North Yorkshire after we revealed the scale of payouts over pothole damages.
No matter where you travel, the North Yorkshire roads are a disgrace
Michael Chapman
I complained about the dangerous road between New Park roundabout and the new Tesco roundabout recently and the NYC response was that the road surface was rough but not bad enough to trigger a repair. Tesco would be back in September to complete remedial actions which would include this part of the road. It's now mid May, so we have another three to four months of this hazard. Lorries are still driving over the edge of the Tesco roundabout as it's too large.
Liz Carnell
Anyone with any sense would have repaired the road up to the Tesco roundabout at the same time as the roundabout was built.
