Retail giant plans to open Ripon store
After weeks of speculation, the Stray Ferret can reveal that clothes retailer Next plans to open a store in Ripon.
The store will be located in two units on St Michael's Retail Park, at Rotary Way.
It will join M&S Simply Food, which has operated on the retail park since July 2020.
Sources on site, where M&S is currently in the process of increasing its floorspace by expanding into an adjacent unit, told the Stray Ferret that Next would be coming soon.
Now the retail giant has confimed the news by placing a recruitment advert online which states it is seeking a store manager for a site at the retail park in Ripon.
The expansion of the M&S Simply Food store is ongoing, as work starts on the Next store
In the meantime, while Next plans its move to Ripon, construction workers are on site in the hope of a spring opening for the enlarged M&S Simply Food store
