Ripley Castle is offering free entry throughout the autumn and winter months.
Entry to the gardens and grounds is normally £5, with entry to the house only available by guided tour, costing £20.48.
This offer only applies to the gardens and grounds, and runs from October to February. During this time it will be open between 10am and last entry is at 3.30pm.
In a post on Facebook, Ripley Castle account also reminded visitors that on their trip they can get a coffee at Grindhus, a cake in The Tearooms and a proper pub experience in The Boar’s Head.
These are all outlets owned by the Ripley Castle estate.
Ripley Castle was put up for sale in January 2025 at an eye-watering £21 million, but in September 2025 the price was slashed to £13.5 million. It has still not sold.
