A trial date has been set for a Harrogate man who denies causing death by careless driving.
Christopher Spittal, 45, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before York Crown Court yesterday (January 12).
Mr Spittal, of Kingsley Close, is accused of driving without due care and attention on North Park Road in Harrogate when his vehicle hit Judith Ross on November 13, 2023.
Ms Ross, 76, died the following day.
The 45-year-old will appear before York Crown Court for trial on December 14 this year.
