North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision at North Rigton, near Harrogate, this month.
Two people in a grey Ford Transit van had to be taken to hospital following the incident, which also involved a black Mercedes C220. They were later discharged.
The crash happened on the A658 crossroads in North Rigton at about 1.45pm on Sunday, August 17.
A police statement today (August 26) said:
We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing specifically the black Mercedes prior to the collision to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation. It is believed the Mercedes travelled from Leeds, along the A61 before turning onto Dunkeswick Lane.
In particular, we are appealing for any dashcam footage of the collision, or the manner of driving of the Mercedes.
