Work underway as retail giant prepares for Ripon opening
Construction workers are on site as Next prepares to open an 8,000 sq ft clothing store in Ripon later this year.
Last month the Stray Ferret revealed that the retail giant would be coming to the St Michael's Retail Park on Rotary Way, where M&S opened its Simply Food store in July 2020.
The two leading retailers will be neighbours, as Next will be trading from adjacent units.

While preparatory work for the Next store is underway, M&S is curently in the process of increasing the size of its Simply Food store by 5,000 sq ft.
The foodhall remains fully open as the extension into a neighbouring unit progresses, with the aim of opening the additional floorspace in the coming weeks.
