    Harrogate Town announce Leeds United fixture

    Harrogate Town will welcome Leeds United to Wetherby Road next month in an all Yorkshire pre-season friendly.

    This match will take place on Friday, July 19 at 7.30pm.

    Town said in a statement today it was the last of the pre-season fixtures to be confirmed for its first-team squad.

    It previously revealed Sheffield United will also be coming to the newly renamed Exercise Stadium. Another Championship side, Middlesbrough, are also heading to Harrogate to take on Simon Weaver's men.

    It means the fixture schedule ahead of the upcoming campaign includes:

    • Huddersfield (H) - Saturday 13th July, 3pm
    • Leeds United (H) - Friday 19th July, 7:30pm
    • Sheffield United (H) - Tuesday 23rd July, 7pm
    • Lincoln City (H) - Saturday 27th July, 3pm
    • Middlesbrough (H) - Wednesday 31st July, 7:30pm
    • Darlington (A) - Saturday 3rd August, 3pm

    The club urged fans to follow its social media channels and website for details on how to secure tickets for matches.

    Town's stadium is now known as the Exercise Stadium after the club struck a deal with online fitness equipment provider Exercise.

    Previous stadium sponsor EnviroVent is now the club’s front of shirt sponsor.
