A new multi-million pound healthcare clinic has officially opened in Harrogate.
Spire Healthcare, which offers private and NHS healthcare provisions, started work on the Hornbeam Park clinic in June.
It opened its doors yesterday (December 16).
The Gardner House site, which has created 30 new jobs, provides day surgery treatments for dermatological, ophthalmic, gynaecological and urology conditions, as well as minor orthopaedic procedures such as hand, foot and ankle surgeries.
GP services, X-rays and ultrasound scans are also available.

The new site offers seven outpatient rooms; GP and diagnostic suites; an ophthalmology testing suite; a minor procedures area and a discharge suite.
A recovery area for day patients has also been built.
The clinic hopes to deliver up to 1,500 procedures each year, which will all be performed under local anaesthetic.
Operations that require general anaesthetic or overnight stays will not be performed at the Harrogate site and patients will instead be referred to the Leeds or Methley Park hospitals.
Justin Ash, chief executive at Spire Healthcare, said:
I’m pleased to see Spire Healthcare Harrogate Clinic open its doors to patients, and I know the whole team is excited to bring high quality, safe, personalised community care to North Yorkshire.

The development comes as part of Spire Healthcare’s expanding network of clinics and is one of 10 new sites being delivered.
These run alongside the firm’s 38 hospitals across England, Scotland and Wales.
