Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, David Skaith, is set to address business owners in Harrogate this month.
Mr Skaith will give a presentation to the Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce at an event on September 9.
The chamber said the meeting will see the mayor share his vision for the region and his plans for supporting local businesses.
It will also include presentations from Tim Forber, chief constable at North Yorkshire Police, deputy mayor for policing and crime, Jo Coles, and James Farrar, chief executive of York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
A venue is to be confirmed, but chamber members can book their place at the meeting here.

York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub is set to offer a leadership programme to business owners in the Harrogate district.
Called the LEAD programme, the scheme includes expert-led workshops, personalised coaching, and targeted consultancy designed to enhance leadership skills and improve team performance.
The six-month programme, which will be led by growth hub business manager Adrian O'Neill, is open to all businesses and is funded in part through the government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, who has endorsed the programme, said:

A Harrogate restaurant has agreed a new partnership with an Ilkley Brewery to offer street food at its new taproom.
Stuzzi, which is based on King’s Road, will serve food at the Ikley Tap, which is set to open on September 5 at 5pm.
It will include creative Italian small plates, pizzettes, and innovative beer snacks. The menu also includes breakfast dishes, such as pizzette breakfast sandwiches filled with Calabrian sausages and Italian pancetta, n’duja baked eggs, and wild mushrooms on toasted sourdough.
The venue, which is based on 60 The Grove Promenade in Ilkley, will be open every day apart from Wednesdays.
Independent gift shop Sophie Likes is celebrating 10 years in Harrogate.
The shop, run by Sophie Hartley, has grown from a small idea on a market stall to its current location on Beulah Street.
It has been running a 10% discount on all purchases for 10 days to mark the milestone.
