Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a Harrogate hospital last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service's incident log said Harrogate and Knaresborough crews were called to the fire at 2.13am. It did not disclose whether it was the district hospital or a private hospital.
The fire was already out when firefighters arrived, but they did establish it was caused by a "faulty toaster", the log adds.
It said:
Minor smoke logging to a corridor and the kitchen.
Crews assisted with ventilation and gave advice.
