A Channel 4 drama starring David Thewlis, Rory Kinnear, Eve Myles and Eleanor Tomlinson is being filmed today (July 23) in Harrogate.

Cameras were rolling at the former council offices in Crescent Gardens.

Wrong Move, which is described as a 'darkly comic thriller about three families bound by one fatal mistake', will feature six, 60-minute episodes.

Written and created by Ben Edwards, who also wrote Coma, Miss Scarlet and The Duke, it is produced by BAFTA-winning production company Roughcut Television.

Gwawr Lloyd, Channel 4’s interim head of drama, said:

Wrong Move is a gripping, bold thriller that captures the pressure of moving house and reveals the hidden lives of both the vendors and the buyers.

The show is expected to arrive on screens by the end of 2026.

Crescent Gardens, the Georgian former home of Harrogate Borough Council, is being transformed by property investment company Impala Estates into offices and a roof garden restaurant.
