A new pilates studio is set to open in Knaresborough in the autumn.
Core & Flow, which specialises in small-group reformer pilates classes for all abilities, will launch on the High Street in early September.
Founded in 2021 by Isla Miskelly, Core & Flow grew from six mats in a back garden in Guisborough to five studios in North Yorkshire and Essex.
Ms Miskelly is fully trained and highly experienced, having practised pilates for over a decade.
She told the Stray Ferret:
Opening in Knaresborough is incredibly exciting for us.
We've been looking for the right location for some time, and High Street is the perfect home for our newest studio.
Our aim has always been to create spaces where people feel genuinely welcome, regardless of their age, fitness level or previous experience.
The Knaresborough studio will offer a timetable of beginner, mixed ability and specialist reformer pilates classes.
The focus will be on improving strength, mobility and confidence through small class sizes and individual attention.
Reformer pilates is way of improving strength, flexibility and balance, usually in an exerciseclass setting. It uses a special machine called a "reformer", which uses a sliding carriage, springs, straps, and pulleys to provide variable resistance.
