A Harrogate cocktail bar has closed after five years of trading.
Manahatta Harrogate officially shut its doors on Saturday, July 13.
The venue, located in The Ginnel off Parliament Street, opened in 2019 after an extensive refurbishment.
Manahatta was a major place for Harrogate nightlife and was on the same street as other bars such as Mojo and Montey’s.
The unit now stands empty, formerly housing Manahatta and Solita Food Hall. Earlier this year the Stray Ferret reported that Solita is set to become Mayfair Pub & Kitchen.
The New York inspired bar is part of a chain owned by Arc Inspirations and has other venues in Leeds and York as well as Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Newcastle.
A spokesperson for Arc Inspirations said:
We’ve loved running Manahatta Harrogate and being part of the local community, however after careful consideration, we took the decision to sell after receiving an attractive offer.
All jobs have been protected, and we’re committed to continuing to grow our business, with ambitious plans to operate 50 bars by 2030.
