Knaresborough business awards celebrate biggest event yet

The third annual Knaresborough Business Awards took place this past weekend.

The event celebrates the town's independent traders and the ceremony took place at Henshaws.

It was organised and hosted by Knaresborough Business Collective, which run by independent business owners Natalie Horner and Annie Wilkinson-Gill.

There were 20 categories and over two hundred attendees, making it the biggest awards ceremony yet.

A spokesperson from Knaresborough Business Collective said:

This is the third year we have organised and hosted the awards, and it just gets bigger and better every year, it is such a fantastic night to truly celebrate Knaresborough businesses and all we have to offer.

Henshaw’s did a fantastic job as this year’s venue and the size and location meant we could have almost 100 more guests than last year’s awards. To be able to put on these awards fills us with joy as we both love Knaresborough so much and it is always such a fun and love filled evening for everybody.

  • Favourite Family Run business - Two Brothers
  • Favourite Healthcare & Wellbeing business - Castle Clinic
  • Favourite hairdressers/barbers - Divine Hair
  • Favourite Beauty Clinic - Boujee
  • Favourite Retailer - The Wine Shop
  • Favourite Tradesman - Knaresborough Window Cleaners
  • Favourite Professional Service Provider - Greenwoods Solicitors
  • Favourite Attraction - Mother shiptons Cave
  • Favourite Coffee Shop - Number Thirteen
  • Favourite Place to Eat - Two brothers
  • Favourite place to drink - Blind Jack’s
  • Favourite Class or workshop - Freedom performing arts
  • Best Customer Service - The Farm Dairy
  • Favourite New Business - The Hungry Caterpillar Kid’s Cafe
  • Favourite Social Media - Painting Pots
  • Favourite Environmentally Friendly Business - Yorkshire Beeswax Candle Co
  • Personal Recognition Award - Brian King
