A Knaresborough lingerie shop is to have models in its windows on Saturday (October 25).
Two women will appear in the window of Sheer Bliss Lingerie, on High Street, between 12pm and 1pm as part of a body confidence campaign.
They will be modelling the shop's autumn collection.
Jayne Winn, owner of Sheer Bliss Lingerie, told the Stray Ferret:
It’s really to promote body confidence. There’s so much talk around weight loss these days. We’re hoping it can help ladies to accept who they are.
The models, Tina Boden and Rachel Peru, both aged in their 50s, are part of a collective called Accepting Who We Are, which promotes women’s body confidence in midlife.
They recently held a photoshoot on Scarborough beach for women over 40.

The campaign also encourages women to get their bra sizes checked. According to Ms Winn, about 80% of women don’t know their correct size.
What does she say to people in Knaresborough who might be shocked at the sight of women in lingerie? She said:
Don’t crash your car on Knaresborough High Street! Just take it for what it is: tongue in cheek and a bit of fun, while promoting women’s body confidence.
Ms Boden, Ms Peru and Ms Winn will be at Sheer Bliss Lingerie from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, although the human window display will only last for an hour from noon.
