Two men have been arrested after what police described as a “violent incident” in Harrogate yesterday (October 7).
North Yorkshire Police today said officers received a report that a man had been assaulted and “forced into a black Land Rover” in the Jennyfields area shortly after 4pm.
Police arrived and located the vehicle. The male suspects ran off, but they were arrested a short time later, the force added.
Today's statement also said:
This will have been an extremely concerning incident to witness, but members of the public can be reassured that two suspects were quickly arrested. They remain in custody at this time, while enquiries continue.
