Crowds gathered outside Bettys in Harrogate today to see the unveiling of its sixth annual Christmas window display.
Mince pies, carol singers and hot chocolate added to the festive spirit as people eagerly waited to see this year’s theme.
Staff worked until 3am before raising the blinds at 5.30pm, when the fruits of their labour were revealed. The window was filled with branded treats – including stollen and Christmas cake – as part of a festive bakery theme.
The Parliament Street café – seen as Bettys’ flagship store – is an institution in the town and its seasonal windows are highly anticipated.
