WATCH: Rebel Wilson talks about Bettys and Knaresborough locals at Tinsel Town premiere
Actress Rebel Wilson praised the people of Knaresborough at last night’s world premiere of Tinsel Town.
The Sky Cinema and Future Artists Entertainment production, which was partly filmed in Knaresborough, will be officially released next week.
But Hollywood stars, including co-leads Wilson and Kiefer Sutherland, flocked to Leicester Square for the world premiere last night (November 27).
The Stray Ferret attended the event and interviewed some of the stars about their time in the Harrogate district, including Wilson.
The Pitch Perfect star, whose character Jill choreographs the local production of Cinderella, was pictured with fans during filming.
As well as a shopping trip to Mint Velvet in Harrogate, Wilson told the Stray Ferret she enjoyed sweet treats at Bettys and a screening of Bridget Jones at a local cinema.
She also said she loved meeting local people, who came out in their droves to catch a glimpse of filming in February.
