A woman remains in hospital after falling from the window of a town centre flat in Harrogate yesterday (September 1).
In a brief update today, North Yorkshire Police said it was still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers were called to on Montpellier Parade at 6.15am yesterday.
According to a police statement, a woman in her 20s suffered serious injuries following what officers believed to be a fall from the window of a flat.
The pavement outside the flat was closed until the afternoon.
At the time a North Yorkshire Police statement said:
The full circumstances of the incident are being investigated and police remain at the scene at this time.
The woman was taken to hospital by the ambulance service where she remains in a serious condition.
The police cordon yesterday.
The Stray Ferret contacted North Yorkshire Police for an update today.
A force spokesperson said:
The woman remains in hospital. The scene was cleared at 12.30pm on Sunday. Investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
No further details have been provided at this time.
