Paperchase in Harrogate will close tomorrow after the company went into administration last month.
The cards, gifts and stationery company has been holding a closing down sale since administrators Begbies Traynor took control of the business.
The James Street shop has already sealed off half of the unit as stocks run low. It is running a 70% off sale and selling some cards for as little as 10p.
Tesco bought the rights to the cards, gifts and stationery brand, entitling it to sell Paperchase items in its supermarkets, but did not buy the stores.
The move affected 106 Paperchase shops and more than 800 staff nationally. All stores are due to cease trading by Monday.

Leon confirms Harrogate closure amid speculation over site’s future
Leon has confirmed its Harrogate restaurant will close in just over two weeks’ time — as speculation mounts over the site’s future.
The Stray Ferret revealed this week the Wetherby Road fast food venue would cease trading, with the loss of about 20 jobs, on April 2.
Staff were informed of the decision on Monday.
A Leon spokesperson said today:
“We’re confirming we have decided to close the doors of Leon Harrogate on Wetherby Road. Our last trading day will be April 2.
“Guests will still be able to get their Leon fix at the drive-thru in Gildersome, and at the Leon Leeds Station restaurant.”
Retailer EG Group operates sites with franchise partners including Starbucks, Greggs and KFC in the UK.
It considered opening a Starbucks on Wetherby Road before Leon was announced instead.
Our Facebook post about Leon’s closure generated about 400 replies, with people eager to know what will follow.
Some local residents had objected to the site being used as a fast food restaurant because of its proximity to homes and the busy junction of Wetherby Road and Hookstone Drive.
Vehicles will stop using the site after April 2 — but it could only be a temporary pause until a new business moves in.

Harrogate Discount Store to close this month
A discount shop which has operated in Harrogate for the last two years is set to close its doors at the end of the month.
The Harrogate Discount Store took on prime retail space on James Street on a temporary basis after Next moved to the Victoria Shopping Centre.
It will close on Tuesday, January 25 but the owners hope to find smaller premises elsewhere in the town centre.
The company moved in when the landlord wanted a business to fill the space while seeking planning permission for a renovation.
Harrogate Borough Council approved the renovation works, which include refurbishment of the shop front and the addition of separate access for the upper floors of the building, in December.

In the planning documents, the landlord said the proposal would improve the chances of attracting a “quality long-term tenant”.
Gavin Broadbent, who runs the Harrogate Discount Store with another employee on behalf of the owners, told the Stray Ferret:
Harrogate food hall to close after just six months“As far as I am aware, the landlord just needs the place back. We were only meant to be here for three months but that was two years ago.
“We have been on a rolling deal and have done quite well out of the place. We have been really busy so we are going to try and find somewhere a bit smaller in a couple of months.
“It has been great. We have really built it up to be quite well liked. It might not be everybody’s cup of tea being on a posh street in the middle of Harrogate but people like a bargain.”
Harrogate’s first food hall is to close just six months after it opened in the former Jamie Oliver restaurant on Parliament Street.
Solita Food Hall Harrogate, which is set over two floors and a rooftop terrace, started serving customers in May.
It has six different stalls, all under the Shoot The Bull brand, and also welcomes other independent businesses on board. It created 30 jobs.
Founder Chris Harrison, chief executive of Shoot The Bull, told the Stray Ferret earlier in the year he hoped Harrogate would welcome the concept with open arms. However, Mr Harrison confirmed today that the Harrogate venue will close at the end of the year.
He added that staff would be offered employment at the next restaurant set to take on the building.
