Burglary, rape, drug dealing and fraud suspects have been arrested in a 24-hour crime crackdown in Harrogate.
It was part of Operation Tornado, which is North Yorkshire Police's codename for monthly days of multi-agency activity targeting criminals in different parts of the county.
The Stray Ferret previously reported that police were on patrol in Woodfield and smashed a door before seizing drugs at a house in Jennyfields during the operation, which took place yesterday (February 11).

A force statement today listed the following outcomes from the blitz:

Police on patrol in Woodfield.
Inspector Greg Davies, of Harrogate neighbourhood policing team said:
You could say this was all in a day’s work. But police officers do these things every day of the year. So while yesterday’s Operation Tornado has been highly effective, it isn’t just a ‘one-and-done’. It builds on the policing we do 365 days a year by allowing us to intensify our resources in a specific area and on specific things that communities are telling us they want us to tackle.
