A man who died in a car crash on the edge of Harrogate suffered multiple injuries, an inquest heard today (November 24).
The inquest into the death of Nicholas Parkin, 52, opened at Northallerton Coroner’s Court this morning.
Senior coroner Jon Heath told the court Mr Parkin, who lived in Beckwithshaw, died after his Citroën C2 left the B6161 Oaker Bank and collided with a tree just after 10pm on October 24.
Emergency services were called but Mr Parkin was certified dead at the scene near Pot Bank, Mr Heath added.
