It really could be murder on the dancefloor in September, when Sophie Ellis-Bextor is set to headline a car show at a luxury hotel near Ripon.

The singer, best known for her single Murder on the Dancefloor, has been revealed as the headline act at Supercar Sunday at Grantley Hall.

The hotel today (January 27) said the event is held in partnership with Supercar Driver and will see a range of supercars, hypercars and classic cars showcased across the grounds.

There will also be a barbecue, an outdoor cinema and what have been described as "exhilirating activities".

Paul Boulton, lifestyle manager at Grantley Hall, said:

Since it began in 2021, Supercar Sunday has become a standout date for car enthusiasts around the UK, and 2026 is set to be our biggest and best yet.

Our partnership with Supercar Driver ensures an incredible calibre of cars and community on the day, and we are thrilled to have Sophie Ellis-Bextor delivering a showstopping headline act. It’s going to be spectacular from start to finish.
