About £20,000 worth of Asian gold jewellery has been stolen from a house in Harrogate, North Yorkshire Police said today (October 20).
A police statement said burglars forced their way into a property on Crab Lane in the Bilton area at some point between Saturday, September 27 and Friday, October 10.

If you do keep valuable jewellery or large amounts of cash in your home, please take steps to secure it properly. A burglar who is determined will search high and low for your treasured possessions.
Officers urged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who has been offered the items for sale to get in contact. Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage is also asked to come forward.
