A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on the A61 near Ripon last night (September 2).
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident, which happened near the junction of Moor Road that leads to Bishop Monkton, occurred at 7.04pm.
It involved a silver Triumph motorbike and a black Ford Fiesta.
Police said the injured motorcyclist was taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment, while the car driver sustained only minor injuries.
Officers closed the road at the time, which is the main route between Harrogate and Ripon, and are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage:
