The premises occupied for years by Ripley's village shop have been put up for sale.
The property, in a prime site set back from the road through the village, includes residential accommodation with eight bedrooms, three bathrooms and adjoining general store and ice cream parlour, plus courtyard back garden with two garages and a store room.
It is on the market with estate agent Carter Jonas for offers over £850,000.
News of the sale comes three months after Jon Peters, the owner of Ripley Store, said he was moving his family business to larger premises across the road, where the old Harrogate Tipple gin distillery used to be.
He told the Stray Ferret in August that his business would trade from the premises currently up for sale until the end of September, before opening on its new site this month.
The Ripley Estate was put on the market in June 2024, after more than 700 years of ownership by the Ingilby family.
The shop is the latest piece of the estate to be marketed in isolation. The castle itself is listed as part of Lot 1 of the sale, which also includes the East Wing events venue, the gift shop, the tearoom, Grindhus coffee shop and the 166-acre park, all with a guide price of £7.5 million.
